Several emergency services sources said these types of call outs were common.
One fire truck attended the Werribee Mercy Hospital to remove the metal ring
from the man's appendage at 2.30am.
"Washers on penises and rings stuck on penises we get once or twice a year,'' he
said. "In my 39 years I have seen about half a dozen of them.
