More men than women take a teddy bear to bed.
A survey of 2,000 people found that 20 per cent of men admitted to sharing their
bed with a cuddly toy, compared to 15 per cent of women.
According to the poll, 63 per cent also said they needed a bedtime cuddle to
sleep.
British Hotel chain Travelodge conducted the study to coincide with the launch
of their latest plan to help lonely travellers feel at home - the 'Cuddillow'.
The 'Cuddillow' - which is being piloted in hotels in Newcastle, Durham,
Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham - is a 2ft 6ins long pillow with two 'arms'.
