The 18-year-old student who was arrested told an
investigator ?he just wanted to know what it felt like to stab somebody,?
Pierce County sheriff?s spokeswoman Lynelle Anderson said.
The injured student was stabbed in the head, ear and neck with a pocket
knife at Liberty Junior High, 7319 Eustis Hunt Road E., Anderson said. He
was taken to a local hospital and reportedly was in stable condition.
Deputies booked an 18-year-old man, also a student at the school, into the
Pierce County Jail on suspicion of first-degree assault.
