| Coleen Nolan admits making a sex tape
on live TV as mortified sons sit in audience |
When your mother is on a television talk show called Loose Women, the
chances are there will be plenty to be embarrassed about.
But when Coleen Nolan's sons went to a recording of the panel show
yesterday, they were in for a huge shock.
Not only did the 44-year-old presenter admit to making a sex tape, she also
revealed exactly how it looked.
The gossipy all-women panel show were discussing whether they would ever
make a sex tape when Coleen confessed she already had that one ticked off.
Despite the fact that her two sons Jake, 16, and Shane, 21, were sitting in
the audience, Coleen launched into an embarrassing recollection of her seedy
celluloid moment.
The mother-of-two who is currently relaunching her singing career
indiscreetly revealed she and her partner looked like 'two sea lions that
needed clubbing'.
She then described herself as resembling an 'albino whale'. And to further
groans - mainly from her sons, she joked that the whole tape 'lasted only
two minutes'.
The horrified pair had their heads in their hands, looking as if they wanted
the ground to swallow them up.
Fellow panellist Kate Thornton said 'this feels so wrong', as the camera
continually cut to Coleen's two sons in the audience.
The revelation came as Coleen and her sisters are in the midst of a series
of concerts, following a revival path well trodden by Eighties stars Spandau
Ballet, ABC and Kajagoogoo.
Sisters Linda, 50, Coleen, 44, Maureen, 55, and Bernie, 48, will go on stage
30 years after hit song I'm in the Mood for Dancing was a British No 1.
However a rift in the family means older sisters Denise and Anne will not
take part in the tour, which will run across Britain later this year.
The snub has been compounded by a family rift caused when Anne rowed with
Coleen's husband Ray, and then Denise got involved.
The group, who first shot to fame in the 1970s, made appearances on Cliff
Richard’s TV Show, Morecambe & Wise and The Two Ronnies before supporting
Frank Sinatra on his UK tour.
